Financial Analyst

Duties

Under the general supervision of the Manager of Revenue Management, this position is responsible for calculating the monthly contractual allowance and performing revenue related analysis for the Professional services, SHC related entities and outsourced patient billings.

The analyst monitors related Professional and hospital related entities revenue accounting operations; provides information to external auditors and management as needed. The analyst prepares and analyzes monthly revenue financial reporting and analyzes gross, AR reserves and net revenue.

The analyst monitors and analyzes revenue budget variances. The position reconciles general ledger with sub billing systems on the monthly basis. This position plays a key role in the efforts of middle and senior management.

The analyst will provide a wide range of financial analysis information in a timely and accurate manner. Due to the complex nature of the health care industry and financial infrastructure, the analyst requires strong health care knowledge and analytical skills.

Skills

· 3 years of Health Care Finance experiences or 5 years of Finance/Accounting experience.

· BA degree in Finance or Accounting. Preferred CPA.

· Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

· Extensive knowledge of financial practices and General Accepted Accounting Principals.

· Strong computer skills in power point, access, excel and other computer applications.

Duties

Act as cover person for Americas Treasury Manager.
Provide leadership to staff in Mountain View, CA and San Paulo, Brazil and manage outsourced disbursements team in India.
Manage and execute treasury functions including cash management, treasury operations, bank relationship management, and support mergers and acquisitions.
Approve payments using multiple web-based or desktop banking systems.
Identify idle cash and ways to improve cash visibility.

Skills

4-8 years Treasury experience;

Responsibilities

Perform account reconciliation for client’s records.
Pull the details from AP records and invoices for auditors
Prepare PBC list for audit and its supporting details
Proactively interact with the team to gather information and reconcile the accounts for 2010.
Proactively question process and procedure and implement change to gain efficiencies and streamline workflows.
Help with cash application to customer invoices
Show judgment on when to elevate issues and when to resolve independently.
Work on special projects as opportunities present themselves.

Qualifications

BS degree with emphasis on Accounting required
4+ years Accounting experience.
Prior audit experience is required.
Team player able to adapt/adhere to changing priorities.
Working knowledge of GAAP.
Detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
Familiarity with QBs and Great Plains
Strong computer skills (MS Excel).
Ability to work well independently and reprioritize constantly.

The Controller’s Group has an immediate need for 2 experienced and energetic finance professionals for the role of M&A Payroll Integration Analyst to assist in the integration for our acquisitions. This role will offer you a great opportunity to gain experience, responsibility and exposure to functions both within and outside of payroll. You need to have a strong finance, accounting or operational background with M&A and integration experience a plus. Specific payroll experience is a plus but not a requirement.

The candidates must be independent and self-driven. Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred with a strong academic record.

My client is seeking a candidate with strong Access experience to join a growing company on a temp to perm basis. They are a growing start up located in San Mateo.

Responsibilities:

Communicate with the sales team to ensure all necessary information is collected for existing and prospective customer pricing jobs.
Correspond with the company's access management team to identify and confirm all aspects of customer pricing strategy.
Prepare pricing tables utilizing Access and other database tools.
Upload rates as they change into the billing system
Deliver completed pricing notifications to customers in a clear and consistent manner.
Ensure all aspects of the pricing creation lifecycle adhere to established processes and controls.
Participate in on-going internal control process improvement.
Work closely with finance members to facilitate tasks related to customer pricing.

Qualifications:

Must have Microsoft Access power user (guru level of expertise required)
Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Ability to work well under pressure
Self-motivated with discipline to follow tasks and projects through on a day-to-day and project basis.
1-2 years experience working in a telecommunications environment preferred.
College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
